Mozart's last opera - a labyrinth of the dark corridors of politics and the love shackled by it. An opera that tells the bitter story of betrayal, treachery, tyrannical, tragic affection... And mercy as spontaneous kindness flowing unstoppably from man. The creative tandem of director Vera Nemirova and artist Yuliyan Tabakov finds clearly addressed contemporary projections of Mozart's classic work.
