"M is for Woman" is an intimate journey of Rossen Mikhailov and Vesa Tonova, in which their companions, stage partners, rivals and competitors are the soloists and ensemble of the State Opera Ballet - Stara Zagora. The "M" in the generally accepted notions is one of the most masculine letters. M is = for Man. But in "M" are also encoded some of the most important feminine incarnations in the complex image of a WOMAN: "M" for Mom/Mother, "M" for Girl, "M" for Mila/Mistress, "M" for Maid/Maiden, Virgin Mary, "M" for Nun, "M" for Whore/Madwoman, Mary Magdalene ... These incarnations are a small part of the thousands of roles played by the modern Woman. A Woman who is expected to be an entirely feminine and not so "feminine" player in today's world, functioning under "male" rules.
